Rose Marie
Addison
Sep 23, 1960 — May 22, 2024
Daytona
2 Tim 4:7 I have fought the good fight,
I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
Rose Marie Addison Welcomed into the arms her Lord and
Savior in the wee hours on the morning of Wednesday, May
22, 2024. Rose was born September 23, 1960, in Crescent
City, FL to the late Joseph and Agnes Addison. She was edu-
cated in the local schools of Crescent City, FL. She was a
graduate of CCJSHS Class of '78.
After graduating HS, she worked for Sparton, manufacturing
technologically advanced equipment for transportation, electronics, communica-
tion, and defense industries in Deland, FL. Moving to Bunnell/Palm Coast, FL she
worked at ABB Ceag, Delta, Hammock Beach and Celebrity Resort. Then moving
to Daytona Beach, FL she worked for Germfree and B. Braun Medical Inc.
She was a faithful member of Prayer Changes Things Church, Gainesville, FL,
where she served faithfully for serveral years. The joy that dwelled in her heart was
the very joy of Jesus Christ. Her love for Him was strong and sure and anyone who
knew her knew that. A few of her last spoken words was: God Got Me! A constant
prayer of hers was that Jesus Christ would use her to show His love to all she came
in contact with.
Rose's love for her children, GG babies, and family was immeasurable. It seemed to
be her driving force for every decision she made. One of her favorite things was
being surrounded by her family, both immediate and extended, but mostly just with
her GG babies. They were the center of her world. Rose was the person almost
every family member sought for support and guidance. As a daughter, mother, "GG",
sister, aunt, cousin and/or friend her impact on every life is beyond measure. Her
testimony and life will continue to bring glory to God through all the lives she's
touched. She left stepping stones wherever she trodded, it was up to you to take the
next step. She will be intensely missed. To God be the glory!
