Jackie Louis Atkins' life began on December 19, 1946 when Wilfred Atkins and Helen F. Brown gave birth to their baby boy in Daytona Beach, Florida.  He would become the last sibling to answer the call. Jackie was educated in the Putnam County School District and was a 1964 graduate of Central Academy High School in Palatka, FL.

He served his country through the US Army from 1965 – 1971 and was honorably discharged in 1971.  He was also employed with Hudson/Georgia Pacific for 44 dedicated years.
Jackie was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend.  Two of his favorite hobbies and special interests were family gatherings and trash talking. He was loved by all and cherished by many.

On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Jackie answered his Lord and Savior's call to rest from his labor.  Preceding him in death are his parents, Wilfred Atkins and Helen Brown; three siblings, Gardenia King, Robert Brown III and Anthony Brown; and two grandsons, Antonio Atkins and Dylan Williams.

Those who treasure his life and legacy and love are hischildren: Felecia Ceasar (Lorenza), Anthony Atkins (Eureka), Kimyetta Robinson, Javon Atkins (Mashell), and Kimblery Williams (John); grandchildren: KenyanaJenkins (Kwame), Kurtiz, Antoine, Destiny, Jakeria, Isiah, Brianna and Cooper; great-grandchildren: Karsin, Kelsey, Kayley and Brielle; other special friends Tyrone Finley, Sonya Walker, Willie Nelson  (Kool-Aid) and Cheryl Blue Hampton. Lastly, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
