Mrs. Gussie Lee Martin - Davis was born on March 13, 1925 to the late Gus and Della (Gilbert) Martin in Thomasville, GA and resided in Palatka, FL for many years. Gussie grew up with three siblings who have proceeded her in eternal rest, sisters Ethel G. Boyd, Juanita Martin-Garland, and brother James Martin. Gussie graduated from Highland Park high school, in Highland Park, MI. Years later, Gussie moved to Tampa, FL and lived there for several years until she relocated to Palatka, FL where she was a caretaker for her sister Ethel G. Boyd until she transitioned. Mrs. Gussie loved her community and especially working at D.A. Boyd & Sons Funeral Home where she worked until the lord called her home. Mrs. Gussie passed on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the sweet age of 96. Mrs. Gussie is proceeded in death by her parents; Gus and Della (Gilbert) Martin, Sisters; Ethel G. Boyd, Juanita Martin-Garland. Brother; James "Big Jim" Martin. Nephew; Tommy A. Boyd, Niece; Brenda Epperson. She leaves to cherish her memories a niece Mrs. Sandra (Richard) Bobo, Lathrup Village, MI Goddaughters; Ms. Ramon Lewis, California, Constance Schneider, Palatka, FL, A special friend Mrs. Erma Boyd-Hines, Washington, MD and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other  relatives.
