Gail Marsha Ganzy was born on August 24, 1953, to the late Bessie Lee (Ford) Ganzy and James Albert Ganzy Sr. in Staten Island, New York.

Gail received her elementary education from Public School 44, junior high school 51 Edwin Markham, and her high school from Curtis High school. While attending Curtis High School, Gail enrolled and graduated from the nursing program.
Gail was employed at Willow brook State School for 10 years where she continued to help the sick and shut in with disabilities. Upon her transition from New York to Winter Haven, Gail obtained employment with Winter Haven Health and Rehab along with private duty nursing.

Gail accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Hurst Chapel AME in 1994.

In her leisure time, Gail enjoyed completing charity work, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family. Gail was proceeded in death by her parents, Bessie Lee Ganzy and James Albert Ganzy Sr. Her brothers, Wilbert (Wub) Ganzy and James (Jim) Ganzy Jr.

Gail leaves to cherish her precious memory; her daughter, Tamika Ganzy (Roderick) of Winter Haven, FL, her significant other, Donald Jordan or Rocky Mount, NC, her brother Leroy Ganzy (Doris), Colombia, S.C., sisters, Shelia Ganzy and Darlene Ganzy of Winter Haven, FL. Aunts, Manna Pickney of Staten Island, New York and Eva Bradley of Winter Haven, FL as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
