Betty Ann Osgood Walker of Palatka, FL transitioned in Odessa, FL at the age of 89 years old. Betty Walker was born or April 28, 1932 in Palatka, FL. She attended and graduated from Palatka Public Schools. She was married to Spencer Walker Sr who preceded her in death in 1988, The two shared six children: Katrina, L'Tanya, Silvania, Spencer II, Rodney and Sonya. Betty spent the greater part of her active years being of service to others.  From preparing and serving food at Osgood Chicken Shack, being a long-term housekeeper for several Palatka families and ending her career at Meals on Wheels/The Green Thumb at 76 years old.  She continued to serve her community and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Betty Walker is survived by her children and their spouses, grandchildren, great-grand-children and great-great-grandchildren. Other surviving family members include nieces and nephews, cousins and a host of adopted people she cared for and loved.
Betty loved horticulture and could make any flower bloom and plant flourish.  It was how she relaxed. She often said "I want my flowers while I can see and smell them". Her wish, in lieu of flowers for her services, is that you be of service to someone in any capacity.
